ABOUT US
We specialize in home raised Traditional and
Classic Balinese Cats and Kittens. Our favorite
attributes of the Traditional and Classic Balinese cats are their gentleness, intelligence and
affectionate natures. Shortly after the little bitty kitten stage they learn to
control their claws so they do not scratch you. They love to play fetch and they learn quickly where they are
supposed to scratch. Their fur does
not mat and it is silky soft.
With one litter produced in 2002 and two litters in late
Fall 2003, Kensington Cat has began our third generation of breeding. All of our
kittens are lovingly raised underfoot and are always kept inside.
Our cattery is our home with many windows, including 3 bays.
The cats and kittens consider the entire house, including the basement as
their home. This can be a challenge
for a good nights sleep at times!
My husband and I love all of our cats and kittens.
We both love the miracle of watching the kittens being born and watching
them develop from little “Ewoks” into beautiful kittens.
They are such fun and so bright and affectionate.
I have never been sorry for a minute.
I just want other people to have the chance of having a cat as beautiful
as these. Our cats and kittens add
a spark to life. The first thing
when my husband gets up is he looks for Sir Charles.
Of course, Sir Charles is usually looking for him and meowing at the
bedroom door, so it is a match made in heaven.
We both love to watch the kittens. A
day never goes by that they do not make us laugh. Everyday we say, “If anyone
could just see these kittens, they would love them.”
It seems that everyone that has bought a kitten from me or
is associated with the breeding of these cats has been extraordinarily friendly.
I get updates and pictures on email and both my husband and I love it.
It seems most cat lovers are really nice people.
At least that has been our experience.

FOOD
We feed our cats
and kittens Sophisticat Kitten and Cat food for their wet food.
We use Hills Science Diet Natures Best, Maxi Cat Kitten Food
and Nutro Natural Choice as well.

HEALTH CARE
Kittens receive at least their first FVRCCP and are wormed.
Kittens who have not yet gone to their new homes by 12 weeks
of age receive their second FVCCP and are wormed a second time.
TRANSPORTATION
A
kitten can be flown to its new home at 11 weeks from Lambert Airport
in St. Louis.
We will only fly kittens on non-stop flights when St. Louis
weather is above 35 degrees and the destination city is also in that
range.
Kittens are only flown on an airline that will guarantee
pressurized areas and thermostatic control the same as for people.
Kittens must be last on and first off.
The buyer must agree to meet the kitten at the airport.
No fee is charged to take the kitten to the airport, but the
buyer does have to pay for the flight, the Veterinarian Health
Certificate and the Carrier.
Please inquire about these fees prior to transfer.
GUARANTEES
Kittens are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale and a written
Sales Contract is used. A
Veterinarian Health Certificate can be obtained if requested.
They are all checked shortly after birth and at the time of
the first and second shots.
REGISTRIES
Our cats and kittens are registered with The Traditional
Cat Association, Inc. Our Stud cat
is registered with
TCA, Inc., CFA and CFF.
